Carl Larsson 2027 Wall Calendar

Carl Larsson’s atmospheric paintings capture the joys of everyday family life in the Swedish countryside at the turn to the 20th century. The serene images Larsson presented in his watercolors became widely popular, influencing Scandinavian art and design. Depicting his wife and children (all eight of them!), shoreside strolls, friends, neighbors, and evening rituals, these windows into the artist’s life evoke a sense of calm and domesticity. A handful of the images in this calendar were published in his splendidly wholesome series A Home, published between 1894 and 1897.
